We had an amazing stay, located near the local pub and shops, and it's a beautiful area.

Location was great, an easy walk to a local history museum; that was a bonus. The breakfast was gorgeous, with a wide range of meals. Stuff was lovely, helped with everything.

We stayed at a lovely cottage in a beautiful area. the layout was ideal, all on one level. the cottage was well designed, well equipped, and immaculately clean. the large windows made the sitting area sunny in the mornings. the breakfast bar was spacious enough for a comfortable meal. the thoughtful extras provided, such as tea, coffee, fresh milk, and biscuits, were much appreciated. the bathroom was spotlessly clean with a spacious bath and plenty of hot water. Complimentary breakfast at the Willow restaurant was a bonus. the staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The location was great, just a short walk from the main street. Cons: Couldn't fault 👍.

One highlight was our visit to Brimham Rocks, a stunning natural formation that provided the perfect backdrop for our family hike. The nearby Nidd Gorge and Knaresborough were also worth a visit. The breakfasts at the Willow restaurant were absolutely delicious, and the staff treated us like family, making our stay truly memorable.

For dads, it would be great if Stable Cottage had a small outdoor play area for children.
