We stayed at a lovely cottage in a beautiful area. the layout was ideal, all on one level. the cottage was well designed, well equipped, and immaculately clean. the large windows made the sitting area sunny in the mornings. the breakfast bar was spacious enough for a comfortable meal. the thoughtful extras provided, such as tea, coffee, fresh milk, and biscuits, were much appreciated. the bathroom was spotlessly clean with a spacious bath and plenty of hot water. Complimentary breakfast at the Willow restaurant was a bonus. the staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The location was great, just a short walk from the main street. Cons: Couldn't fault 👍.

I didn't have time to engage in hiking, windsurfing, or fishing. But hey, it's nice to know I had the option!
Oh, how I wished I had the opportunity to fish or hike during my stay! Such a disappointment.

This place is in a beautiful area close to the shops on the High Street and we enjoyed having drinks at the Royal Oak, which is just 400 meters away.

We got excellent value for our money at Stable Cottage. The room was well-designed, well-equipped, and immaculately clean. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel well looked after.
Breakfast offerings could have been better with more dish clothes or a tea towel in the kitchen.

The central location allowed us to easily explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. One highlight was our visit to Brimham Rocks, a stunning natural formation that provided the perfect backdrop for our family hike. The nearby Nidd Gorge and Knaresborough were also worth a visit. The breakfasts at the Willow restaurant were absolutely delicious, and the staff treated us like family, making our stay truly memorable.
For dads, it would be great if Stable Cottage had a small outdoor play area for children.

My recent stay at Stable Cottage was absolutely delightful! The cottage itself was well designed, immaculately clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The large windows in the sitting area made it bright and cheery, perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The location was also fantastic, with the main street just a short walk away. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast at the Willow restaurant across the road. The freshly made pancakes and syrup were mouthwateringly delicious! The staff at both the cottage and the restaurant were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. I had a wonderful experience at Stable Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The central location of this cottage was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We were able to easily visit all the popular Yorkshire sites without having to travel too far. the friendly hosts made us feel right at home and were always there to assist with any requests.
Our Christmas stay at this cottage was not as enjoyable as we had hoped. the breakfast stools were incredibly uncomfortable, making it difficult to enjoy our meals.
